Alkalinity Builder

Boiler water needs to be adjusted the pH to avoid corrosion due to low pH. This increase in pH also serves to support the performance of chemical descaling based on phosphate. The recommended pH depends on the working pressure of the boiler.

iGuard B408 is a liquid chemical that can increase the alkalinity of water so that it can meet the pH standard of boiler water and prevent corrosion. iGuard B408 is also a chemical that is easy to control its use and easy to control its residuals in the blowdown water so that it does not pollute the environment.

Oxygen Scavenger

Dissolved gas in water is one of the causes of corrosion in boiler systems, especially dissolved oxygen. Therefore, it is very important to be able to pay attention to the performance of the deaerator so that the dissolved gas content in water can be reduced as low as possible. The remaining dissolved gas that is still in the water can be removed by using a chemical that functions as an oxygen scavenger.

In addition, to prevent corrosion due to dissolved gas content in water, especially oxygen, which the deaerator cannot completely remove, the use of chemical oxygen scavenger is highly recommended. CrestoGuard 206 is an oxygen scavenger with carbohydrazide as the active ingredient and iGuard B909 is an oxygen scavenger with sodium sulfite as the active ingredient.
